About

This is an introduction to a series of videos developed to help educators as they design assessments. While tradition tests and diagnostics tend to have a "one-size-fits-all" approach to measuring knowledge and skills, universally designed assessments identify and eliminate unintended and/or irrelevant barriers in the measurement itself. By designing flexible means of assessment, educators can get a more accurate reflection of what individuals learners know and can do. A video series is highlighted that focuses on the integral nature of assessments within instruction.
