Developing a framework of ecosystems derived from the natural world and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Kate Rancourt, Assistant Creative Director at One Workplace, suggests that intentional spaces can enhance learning environments. Environmental factors will include lighting, acoustics, furnishings, suite versus corridor organization and indoor-outdoor connections.
