Developing a framework of ecosystems derived from the natural world and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Kate Rancourt, Assistant Creative Director at One Workplace, suggests that intentional spaces can enhance learning environments. This interactive, audience engaged, dialogue infused presentation empowers participants to evaluate space and actively participate in the planning and staging of spaces that support all learners. Environmental factors will include lighting, acoustics, furnishings, suite versus corridor organization and indoor-outdoor connections.
