UDL-PLC Series: Time, the Big Barrier

The UDL-PLC series provides you with 15 modules that guide the development of a professional learning community focusing on UDL. Each module has 2 segments: Learn and Discuss.

In this module, the teaching barrier of “time" is considered.  You will reflect on ways that adopting a UDL mindset can save you time, and share this with colleagues.

This article describes how to use the three principles of UDL to design curricula that address the influence of emotions on learning in a higher education context.  Emotion and learning are inextricably linked, but curriculum design and teaching practices often overlook the role of emotion on academic success.  This resource provides practical ways in which instructors can design educational activities to address the interplay between emotion and learning.
