Effective implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) requires teachers to design flexible curriculum to ensure meaningful access for diverse learners. This resource describes findings from a collaborative partnership between a teacher preparation program and local school district, focused on providing on-going, intensive professional development for general and special educators in high-needs middle schools. The professional development activities focused on applying UDL to teach the NGSS. This resource also provides the framework used to design and implement the professional development as well as feedback from teachers involved in the project.
