After 20+ years of IT Support in higher education, Carolee wanted to see the student experience improve. She completed a Master of Education in Multidisciplinary Leadership and has also completed graduate diploma in Instructional Design. Along this educational path, Carolee became an advocate for Universal Design for Learning as a goal to creating inclusive education where life long learning happens. This lead to a PhD looking how faculty engagement in non education disciplines can create inclusive learning environments. Carolee also is helping faculty reduce barriers for learners through the use of Open Education Practices along with promoting strong UDL practices.
