Supporting Positive Behavior
How can deliberate, preventative and proactive practices advance sustainable behavioral supports and promote equity in school?
Effective, successful schools are proactive in paying attention to, and understanding the continuous improvement necessary to implement the environment conditions that contribute to positive, desirable behavior. Research, evidence-based tools and strategies, and data are key building and maintaining a positive and proactive school climate for students, staff, and the community. This Badge supports and utilizes practices that assess challenging, and supporting prosocial, behavior in schools. Participants will assess and action plan for the implementation of three evidence-based best practices to support positive behavior at the classroom level.
