Carolyn L. Berenson holds a Masters of Education in elementary education from The George Washington University, a certification in special education from the University of New Hampshire, and a graduate certificate from Lesley University in advanced online instruction. Berenson has taught general education in the Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia and special education in the School Administrative Unit 16 in New Hampshire, where she also served as Learning Area Leader and Inclusion Facilitator. Berenson, an adjunct faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), has researched in depth and presented on online and blended learning for students with disabilities. Her findings are published in the June 2020 edition of the Journal of the American Academy of Special Education Professionals (JAASEP). She is the founder of i-Pedagogy LLC, a women-owned small business which continues her mission to design face-to-face, online and blended learning that is inclusive to build stronger communities of learners.
