Lynda has an M.A. Special Education (Learning Disabilities) and an M.L.S. in Assistive Technology (AT). Lynda is a special education teacher by background who has worked across the continuum of environments and age levels. She has been involved in assistive technology since before it was called assistive technology. Lynda designed/taught an undergraduate AT class and presents/facilitates workshops on various topics across Illinois and at state/national conferences. Lynda’s areas of expertise and interest include the range of technologies to support students with effectively, efficiently and independently performing academic tasks. She is particularly interested in technologies that offer more universal supports, incorporating Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
