Most of my time teaching has been as an intervention specialist but I recently taught high school English in the general curriculum for several years. I'm currently an intervention specialist co-teaching a fully inclusive science course at a career technical school. I love trying new experiences but one idea has always been in the forefront of my teaching philosophy. I always longed for modifications and accommodations to be invisible and for any student to be able to take advantage of supports and scaffolds regardless of an identified disability. UDL helps make that a reality.
