Ron B. Rogers, Ed.D. works directly with all of Ohio’s State Support Teams and the Ohio Department of Education on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and braiding UDL throughout Ohio’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). He is the past chair of the State Advisory Panel for Exceptional Children (SAPEC) and leads the Ohio Universal Design for Learning Collaborative. In the past, Rogers worked with district leadership teams through the Ohio Improvement Process (OIP) and collaborated with districts that were in continuous improvement while assisting them to attain the excellent with distinction status. He has over 35 years of professional expertise in the areas of education and criminal justice. Rogers has also served as a curriculum specialist, director, principal, technology consultant, and classroom teacher. Presently Ron is the Program Director for the UDL Center at OCALI.
