New Hampshire is in the ongoing process of building and refining an Innovative Learner Ecosystem where Universal Design for Learning combines with several other New Hampshire activities and programs to provide students with personalized educational pathways to ensure all students have an equal opportunity to learn. This document summarizes the contents of a session from the UDL-IRN Summit which describes New Hampshire’s strategic ILE plan by exploring the state’s implementation of competency-based education, academic optional advancement opportunities, flexible in and out of school learning experiences, and establishment of routine family and community engagement.
